Throughout his career, Captain Muhsin has expertly handled new builds, flag changes, shipyard refits, charter operations, and crew management. His extensive cruising experience spans the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and Gulf regions. Known for his hands-on leadership style, strong technical background, and meticulous attention to detail, he ensures smooth operations both at sea and in port. With extensive experience aboard both sailing and motor yachts up to 138 ft, Vefa brings a strong background in navigation, crew leadership, and guest service to every voyage. Holding a Yacht Master certificate (under 500 GRT) and GMDSS GOC license, he is well-versed in maritime safety, advanced firefighting, and medical care. Vefa has proven himself in various roles from skipper to first mate, consistently demonstrating hands-on problem-solving, team coordination, and a calm, proactive approach under pressure. Serdar returns to Princess Melda for the 2026 season as an Engineer following a
successful 2025 season with our team. Although young, he has proven himself to be a skilled and dependable crew member, bringing strong technical knowledge, a proactive attitude, and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement. Responsible for supporting the vessel’s engineering operations, routine maintenance, and the smooth running of the engine room, Serdar approaches every task with professionalism, precision, and dedication. His familiarity with both the yacht and the crew allows him to contribute efficiently to the safe and reliable operation of the vessel. Chef Ramazan is a professional yacht chef with over 20 years of culinary experience, including the last 5 years actively working in the yachting industry. Throughout his career, he has specialized in a wide range of cuisines including Turkish, Mediterranean, Asian, and Italian, while also developing strong expertise in modern presentation techniques and international gastronomy. Having previously worked on vessels such as M/Y GO, M/S Arielle 1, M/S Eagean Pearl, and M/Y Harun, Ataklı stands out with his ability to create refined, creative menus tailored to life at sea. His disciplined, detail-oriented approach ensures a seamless and high-quality dining experience for both guests and crew. As of the 2026 season, Ramazan Ataklı has joined M/Y PRINCESS MELDA as the onboard Chef, bringing his strong operational experience and creative culinary vision to deliver an exceptional gastronomic experience on board.

Ahmet Can joined Princess Melda as Lead Deckhand for the 2026 season, bringing with him valuable experience, strong seamanship skills, and a professional approach to deck operations.
