Vanja Petrovic

Chief engineer

Nationality: Montenegrin

Highly experienced Chief Engineer currently serving aboard SS Delphine (second stint, having also held the role 2020–2023), with extensive prior command of engine departments on container ships and explorer/charter yachts. Hands-on, meticulous, and passionate engineer who thrives under pressure, values cultural diversity, and brings genuine enthusiasm for guest experience alongside deep technical expertise (steam engines, generators, AV/IT, water makers, tender/crane operations). Holds Chief Engineer Unlimited (3,000kW+), advanced firefighting, high voltage, and engine room resource management certifications.

Barry Delgado

Engineer

Nationality: Filipino

Long-tenured engineer aboard SS Delphine (and other charter/private vessels) with 15+ years rising from assistant engineer to 3rd Engineer, including deep knowledge of SS Delphine's historic steam propulsion system. Innovative problem solver comfortable working with limited supervision. Holds COC III/5 unlimited, ENG1, and passenger ship crisis/crowd management training.
